WATCH: A Black Guy Wanted To Ask Bernie Sanders About Reparations And Security Rushed Him Away

In a video posted to Twitter, it appears that a black man was quickly escorted away from Bernie Sanders when he attempted to ask the candidate about reparations.

Bernie Sanders was at a campaign stop in South Carolina earlier this week and, when asked by a black man about reparations, Sanders’ security rushed the man away from the candidate

The man, Jameion B. Fowler, recorded the event and posted it on Twitter, stating:

I was at a a town hall hosted by @BernieSanders. My intention was to ask him about #Reparations but as soon as the word came out of mouth I was rushed by his aids and secret service. They hemmed me up and escorted me not only off the stage but off the premises.

Fowler went on to explain:

I didn’t even get a chance to turn the camera on him it happened so quickly…Any one looking to approach @SenSanders about reparations for #ADOS should be careful

And:

If I didn’t know any better I’d say he might have instructed his folks to avoid such topics at all cost. But for now I can only speculate

To his credit, Mr. Fowler also challenged Robert “Beto” O’Rourke just a few days earlier as well.

In that case, however, O’Rourke took some time to answer the question that Bernie Sanders’ people would not even allow to be asked.
