Washington Post Reporter Tweets, Then Deletes Picture Of Reporters Celebrating Trump Impeachment

When critics call the media biased, here’s why…

On Wednesday evening, when it was clear that Democrats in the House of Representatives were about to impeach President Trump, a group of reporters from the Washington Post went out for drinks to celebrate.

The celebration was captured by Washington Post reporter Rachel Bade, who tweeted a picture of the celebration, stating:

“Merry Impeachmas from the WaPo team! @pkcapitol is buying… w/ @karoun @seungminkim @mikedebonis

All of those identified by Ms. Bade are affiliated with the Washington Post as reporters covering Congress or the White House.

After her tweet began to get circulated and criticized for its obvious political bias, Ms. Bade then deleted her tweet, stating:

“I’m deleting a tweeting tonight that is being misinterpreted by some as an endorsement of some kind. To be absolutely clear, we at the Post are merely glad we are getting a break for the holidays after a long 3 months. I will retweet the group photo w/ a better caption !”

As many know, the Washington Post (along with the New York Times) have been called out by President Trump on numerous occasions for the biased reporting of its “journalists.”
